Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is the official digital version of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, built by Konami Digital Entertainment and released on Android on January 27, 2022. Master Duel is the only Yu-Gi-Oh! app that runs all six Summoning methods at once, and knowing which one a deck leans on tells you how it wins before you ever face it. Each method pulls from a different part of the Extra Deck and answers a different problem.

How gems, Crafting Points, and Secret Packs actually work

Gems are the only currency that matters in Master Duel, and the single most efficient move in the whole economy is crafting one SR from a Secret Pack to unlock it, not pulling blindly. Understanding this loop is the difference between a finished meta deck in a week and months of stalled progress.

You earn gems by clearing Solo Mode Gates, finishing Missions, and ranking up. Rank-up rewards pay 200 gems for entering Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum tier 5, scaling up to 300 gems for entering Master tier 5. You can hold up to 10,000 free gems at once; anything past that goes to the mailbox and expires in 30 days, so you should spend before you cap out.
